We had an incredible day at the adoption event for Howell. He actually let EVERYONE walk up and Pet him WITHOUT growling! He probably had 20 different children pet him over the course of a couple hours! All I can say is THANK YOU so much to his biggest fan, Andree for her incredibly thoughtful gift of Austin and Kat CBD dog biscuits because I 100% attribute today's public behavior change to that.
We gave him 1 1/2 biscuits (about 8mg) a few hours before the adoption event. He was AWESOME for the first 2 hours of the event, just perfectly normal, content, happy to be approached... I swear I was just standing there with my jaw dropped the whole time!
He did start to growl at the end, when he was due for another biscuit, but I am just shocked, totally shocked, at the sweet loving boy he was in that loud crazy mall today. They had lasted a good solid 4 hours.
